Maya’s Mocha Matcha
Maya has been a chocolate fan since she was a child, always enjoying the sweetest coffees and teas. During a trip to Japan, she opened her eyes to the world of matcha. Once she returned to work in Mississauga, she was determined to customize her own coffee at PSB Cafe.
What to ask for: matcha base + milk of your choice (Maya loves oat milk) + espresso shot + 2 chocolate flavour shots + chocolate syrup
Dara’s (Dirty) Dalgona
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Dara saw non-stop TikToks about the new dalgona coffee trend. She was eager to try it herself, so she practiced here at PSB Cafe’s customized coffee bar. She experimented with multiple different flavours. Afterward, she settled on a classic with a slight twist. For extra fun, add a shot of your favourite liqueur (alcohol is available at PSB on special adults-only nights, view our calendar for specific dates).
What to ask for: whipped coffee base + milk of your choice (Dara uses 2% milk) + 2 espresso shots + cinnamon sprinkled on top
Ajay’s Aromatic Americano
As one of our vegan baristas, Ajay is particularly on the lookout for dairy-free coffees and teas. He tried an Americano in high school and was not a fan, finding it way too strong. Instead, he turned to tea for years before having the idea to combine coffee with one of his favourite teas to customize his own unique take on an Americano.
What to ask for: black coffee (traditionally 2 parts hot water to 1 part espresso) + an earl grey teabag (or any tea of your choice, Ajay recommends sticking to black teas) + a pump of vanilla syrup
